Why Yarış Radarı exists
I am Alparslan Selçuk Develioğlu, a software team lead who loves running and has raced in Cappadocia, the Kaçkar Mountains and Uludağ. As races became part of my life, I realised that finding a good race can sometimes take as much effort as reaching its start line.
Türkiye has many beautiful races; yet information about them is scattered across different websites, announcements and sometimes PDFs that no one can easily find. Finding a race date in one place, its registration link somewhere else and the final application deadline only at the last moment can wear down your enthusiasm. Yarış Radarı grew partly from my wish to bring some order to that mess, and partly from my need for a constantly updated race list for another software project of mine, Mixletics (mixletics.com).
What I want to offer here is more than just a calendar: a way to discover a new race, compare dates and reach the registration page easily. A small reminder lands in your inbox when registration opens and again as the deadline approaches, so you neither get lost among tabs nor miss a great race. Where the organiser has published them, you can even check the mandatory kit list and the medical certificate rule here.
Well, I am not saying this just because I built it, but I have not come across a race calendar made with quite this much care. So I set out to make the best one I could. I hope Yarış Radarı becomes a small companion that feels good to have and proves useful on your running journey.

All calendar data is also open to developers as a read-only JSON API: Race API

Data sources and methodology
Sources
The calendar is fed by the Turkish Athletics Federation's race portal and calendar list, the PassTiming and Plustimer timing calendars, the Turkish Triathlon Federation portal, the HYROX event list, the UTMB series and the official sites of the world's major marathons. Races that appear in no feed, such as triathlons announced only in PDF, are added by hand. Every race page shows where its data came from.
Daily crawl
Every source is crawled automatically each morning. New races, date changes, registration deadlines and cancellations reach the calendar the same day. Official race sites are revisited regularly to fill in courses, elevation, fees and mandatory gear. The "Last updated" stamp on list pages is the date of that crawl.
Verification
Incoming data passes automated quality checks: date consistency, clearing stale deadlines, merging records of the same race from different sources and scoring official-site candidates. Suspicious changes are queued for review instead of being published. Automation never overwrites manually verified races; it only reports conflicts to us.
Limits and corrections
Organisers can change dates and conditions, so the definitive information is always on the official race site; our registration links always point there and we never act as an intermediary. If you see a wrong or missing record, tell us through the contact page and we will fix it.
