Race Analysis

Enter the race you ran and your bib number. From the result list published by the timing company we work out your ranking, your pace, where you sit in the finish time distribution and, between checkpoints, where you were faster or slower than the field.

It is on your entry email and your result certificate.

With this tool you can analyse your result by bib number in 92 editions of 48 races, from 2019 to 2026. By sport: Trail 24, Road Running 20, Cycling 3, Triathlon 1. Cities with the most races: İzmir 7, Antalya 6, İstanbul 6. The list grows by itself as timing companies publish new results.

Races You Can Analyse

The data comes from the result list published by the timing company. The ranking is the timing company’s own; where it gives none, finishers are ranked by net time. A segment time is the difference between two checkpoints and is compared only with athletes whose times were read at both points; with fewer than ten comparisons no segment rank is shown. Splits that are missing or contradict your other splits are skipped; on lapped courses with inconsistent checkpoint records only the finish analysis is shown. Names are shortened and your bib number is not stored.

These are general ranges and assume normal conditions. Trail, heat, elevation gain, wind and technical ground all make the real time longer.

Frequently asked questions

(8)
Which races can I analyse?

Races whose timing company publishes a machine-readable result list; the full list is at the bottom of this page. Results of a new race are added within hours of the timing company publishing them.

Where do I find my bib number?

On your entry confirmation email, on your result certificate, or by searching your name on the timing company’s results page. Leading zeros do not matter.

How is the share of finishers I beat calculated?

The number of finishers behind you divided by the number of the other finishers. The winner beat everyone, the last finisher nobody.

Why is my segment rank different from my overall rank?

Each segment is ranked as if it were its own race. If you climb well but run flat sections slowly, or faded at the end, it shows in the segment ranks; your strongest and weakest segments are marked in the table.

Why are some checkpoints missing?

If the timing mat did not read your passage, or the read time is later than your next split, that point is skipped and its neighbours are shown as one segment. On lapped courses a checkpoint is stored only once, so the segment analysis is switched off.

What do I see if I did not finish?

Your last recorded split, your segments up to there and your position at each checkpoint. The finish rank and distribution are calculated for finishers only.

Are these results official?

The official result is the list published by the timing company and the organiser; this tool reads that list and does the maths. If a time or rank is wrong, write to the organiser; once the list is corrected the analysis follows.

Is my bib or my name stored?

No. Your bib is used for the lookup and not stored, and the result list is cached with shortened names. The link to your analysis sits in the address bar; whether you share it is up to you.
